The program aims at giving you an understanding for and practical experience of a number of methods commonly applied to complex systems. 

The first year of the program focuses on giving you a  foundation in your understanding of complex systems. Further into the program, you get more opportunity to design your program according to your own interests. As any master's program, the last six months is dedicated to the master's thesis but there is also an opportunity to do a full year master thesis.
